IMPACT-IN co-hosted the 6th Annual Indiana Science Communication Day on March 3rd, 2025, with Science Policy Initiative - Notre Dame (SPI-ND).
This event was specifically developed for Indiana-based graduate students to communicate the science and/or science that interests them to lawmakers and to see first-hand the inner workings of science policy that supports our government.
This event was supported by a grant awarded to IMPACT-IN by the Union of Concerned Scientists, called 'The Science for Public Good Fund'.
Soumilee also presented her research on dementia and AD at this event.
IU School of Medicine was one of 12 prestigious worldwide locations chosen to host a hybrid hub for the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) Neuroscience Next 2025, a no-cost event held February 24-27, 2025.
